About The Chefs
Michele Knecht started her Personal Chef Service serving San Luis Obispo County in 2002. Her seasonal style of cooking utilizes fresh, local, organic, plant based, whole foods ingredients and an eclectic mix of recipes and cuisines. She is inspired by the abundance of beautiful local foods grown and produced here on the Central Coast.
Ernesto Farias joined SLO Personal Chef in early 2016, coming from a diverse fine dining background. He prepares a variety of cuisines, including regional Mexican, for our regular clients and for dinner parties. Michele welcomes his talent, enthusiasm, attention to detail and fun personality to the kitchen!

Our dedication to organic, locally grown food translates to weekly menus comprised of the season's most delicious fruits and vegetables. A healthy Mediterranean diet guides each menu we create. We emphasize lots of fresh vegetables, fruit, fish, poultry, limited lean red meat, low fat dairy, whole grains, and healthy omega-3 rich fats.
